Refund & Purchase Policy

This policy covers all purchases of Gem packs on Pride World. Please read it before making a purchase.

1. Nature of Purchases

Gem packs are digital goods — virtual in-game tokens (Gems) that are licensed to you for entertainment use within Pride World. Gems have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed, withdrawn, or exchanged for cash.

When you purchase a Gem pack:

Your payment is processed immediately and securely by Stripe.
Gems are credited to your account instantly upon payment confirmation.
The digital goods are therefore delivered and available for use immediately.

2. General Finality of Purchases

      Because Gems are digital goods delivered and consumed immediately upon purchase, Gem pack purchases are generally final once Gems have been credited to your account. We are not obligated to provide refunds for change of mind once Gems have been added.
    

This is consistent with standard practice for digital goods that are made available immediately after purchase.

3. Your Rights Under the Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or any other applicable consumer protection legislation.

Under the ACL, consumer guarantees apply to the supply of digital products and services. Where a consumer guarantee applies and is not met, you are entitled to a remedy (repair, replacement, or refund) as required by law. This policy does not remove or limit those rights.

Examples where a refund or remedy may be available under the ACL include:

A major failure in the service that prevents you from using Gems you purchased (for example, a platform error that wrongly deducted Gems).
A product that does not match its description or is not fit for the disclosed purpose.
Unauthorised transactions charged to your payment method.

4. How to Request a Refund or Report a Problem

If you believe you are entitled to a refund, or if you have experienced a problem with a purchase (including being charged incorrectly, or Gems not being credited), please contact us as soon as possible:

Subject line: "Refund Request" or "Purchase Problem"
Include: your account email address, the date of purchase, the pack purchased, and a description of the issue.

We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and aim to resolve it within 10 business days. If we are unable to resolve your complaint, you may seek assistance from your financial institution or the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

5. Unauthorised Transactions

If you believe an unauthorised transaction has been made on your payment method in connection with Pride World, please contact your bank or card issuer immediately, and also notify us at hello@prideworld.app. We will cooperate fully with any investigation.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund & Purchase Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page will reflect the date of the most recent update. Continued use of Pride World after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
