Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Pride World. By accessing or using Pride World you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. Eligibility

Pride World is strictly for adults aged 18 or older. By accessing or using the platform you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction. We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time.

The service is operated from South Australia, Australia. It is your responsibility to ensure that accessing Pride World is lawful in your jurisdiction.

2. Nature of the Service

Pride World provides social casino games featuring Gems, a virtual in-game token. Playing Pride World games does not constitute gambling under Australian law because no real money is wagered and no monetary prizes are awarded. The games are designed for entertainment, social interaction, and storytelling.

3. Virtual Currency — Gems

• Gems are virtual in-game tokens licensed to you for use within Pride World only. They are not money or a financial instrument.
• Gems have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed, withdrawn, cashed out, exchanged for money, sold, auctioned, or transferred to another person or account under any circumstances.
• You do not own Gems. You hold a limited, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Gems within the platform, subject to these Terms.
• Gems won during gameplay are not winnings of monetary value and confer no legal entitlement to any payment.
• Pride World may modify Gem balances, values, or the Gem system at any time with reasonable notice where practicable.
• If your account is suspended or terminated, any unused Gems are forfeited, subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

4. Purchases of Gem Packs

You may purchase Gem packs using real money. Gem pack purchases are:

• Processed securely by Stripe. Pride World does not store your full card details.
• Subject to our Refund & Purchase Policy.
• Final once Gems are credited to your account, except as required by the Australian Consumer Law.
• Priced in Australian Dollars (AUD) inclusive of applicable taxes.

All purchases are for digital goods (Gems) and are consumed immediately upon crediting. We reserve the right to change Gem pack pricing and availability at any time.

5. Responsible Play

We care about your wellbeing. Pride World includes voluntary player-care tools including spending limits, session check-ins, cooling-off periods, and self-exclusion. We encourage you to use these tools and to play responsibly.

If you feel that your play is causing harm, please use the self-exclusion feature or contact a support service such as Gambling Help Online (1800 858 858 · gamblinghelponline.org.au) or Lifeline (13 11 14 · lifeline.org.au).

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Pride World if you are under 18 years of age.
• Attempt to exploit, hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the platform or its games.
• Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to interact with the platform.
• Use Pride World for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to buy, sell, or exchange Gems outside the platform.

7. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Pride World at any time if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. We will aim to provide notice where reasonably practicable.

You may stop using Pride World at any time. If you wish to delete your data, please contact us at hello@prideworld.app.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on Pride World — including game assets, characters (including Antinous of Bithynia as depicted), narrative text, art, audio, and software — is owned by or licensed to Pride World Pty Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

9. Changes to the Service

We may update, modify, or discontinue any part of Pride World at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where practicable. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pride World Pty Ltd and its officers, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Pride World.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty, or other term or condition, implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia for any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Pride World.
